2026 Genesis GV60 Magma Confirmed to Enter Production Next Year

Recently, Genesis Motor introduced the first model in its new sub-brand of hot electric cars, which is named GV60 ‘Magma’. The company has said that it will put this concept model into future production, and today we have a clear picture of this which we are going to show you. Genesis has announced today that the production of the high-performance GV60 Magma will start in the first quarter of 2025. This model will also be available for sale in the Korean market in the third quarter of next year, while in the European market, GV60 Magma will be available in the fourth quarter.

2026 Genesis GV60 Magma

We expect the 2026 Genesis GV60 Magma will reach the US market by the first or second quarter of 2025. This means that GV60 will be the first model of Genesis’ new performance sub-brand. Eventually, Genesis Motors will be adding the Magma treatment to the rest of the lineup soon, including an electrified G80 concept version that was shown at Goodwood – which you’d never expect.

Furthermore, Genesis Motors says the production GV60 Magma will look very similar to the concept. With a low ride height and wide body, it will also feature attractive chassis components and a tuned powertrain that will ensure long journeys.

We expect the GV60 Magma to have a dual-motor setup similar to the one used in the 641-hp Hyundai Ioniq 5 N, as they both share the same E-GMP platform. It’s also likely to feature many modern convenience and safety features that will provide a variety of entertainment and assistive features.
