2026 BMW M4: What We Know So Far

BMW makes some of the most exciting luxury sports coupes and sedans in the automotive market, and the 2026 BMW M4 will be a great example of that. It’s powerful, capable, and aggressive and revolves around muscular looks and a polarizing grille. It’s the high-performance model in the BMW 4 Series lineup and the coupe version of the M3 sedan.

2026 BMW M4 Design 

The 2025 BMW M4 will be refreshed with a new design that includes more power, a new headlight design, laser light-enhanced taillights for the top-trim Competition xDrive, minor styling updates, and optional features.

So we can’t expect any major changes to the 2026 model, just like the previous model, it gets a revised front fascia with arrowhead LED daytime running lights that also work as turn signals, and a precise rear taillight LED, which you will all like very much.

Also the previous model, the new model is 189 inches long and 74.3 inches wide – this will be 1.2 inches and 1.4 inches larger than the 4-Series. Like the BMW 4-Series, the M4 also has seating for four people. The rear seats will be relatively spacious with 34.7 inches of legroom.

BMW has not released the price of the new 2026 M4, but since no major changes are expected in the 2026 model, we suspect the new BMW M4 will come in the same trims as the previous model, and could be priced between $80,500 to $125,000.

2026 BMW M4 Interior

The new BMW M4 shares its interior layout and passenger space with the regular 4-Series coupe, it veers toward the sporty side with a variety of unique materials and some race-inspired options. The standard M4 sport seats will feature improved bolstering with an integrated headrest and illuminated logos

Weight-saving carbon-fiber front seats are available. The new M4’s steering wheel has been revised, with the new flat-bottom unit with revised spokes being available in genuine leather or faux suede; either way, the thick-rimmed steering wheel has a pair of red buttons for customizable M4 drive modes.

Also on the new M4 is a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and an attractive-looking infotainment system with a large 14.9-inch touchscreen, but BMW’s new iDrive 8.5 operating system will also be introduced in 2026.
